Our Story
Café with Paloma was created from a simple belief: learning Spanish should feel natural, relaxed, and enjoyable.
As a native Spanish speaker from Spain and a certified teacher, I’ve seen how much easier it is to learn when students feel comfortable and connected. Some of the best learning happens through real conversation — often over a cup of coffee.
Café with Paloma brings that idea to life by offering small-group Spanish conversation sessions in a cozy, welcoming setting. It’s a place to slow down, enjoy coffee or tea, and build confidence speaking Spanish without pressure.
Everyone is welcome at the table.
About Paloma
I am Paloma, a native Spanish speaker from Spain, a certified Spanish Instructor at the college level, and an educator with many years of experience teaching students of all ages — from young children to adults.
I hold three master's degrees: a Master's in Biology, an International Master's in Teaching Spanish Language and Culture, and a Master's in Latin American Literature and its application to teaching.
This diverse academic background has shaped my thoughtful, holistic approach to education.
Over the years, I've learned that adults thrive when learning feels relaxed, social, and pressure-free. Many people want to learn Spanish not for tests or grades, but for personal joy, travel, curiosity, or simply to keep their minds active and engaged.
That belief inspired Café with Paloma — a cozy Spanish conversation club designed especially for adults who want to learn at a comfortable pace, enjoy meaningful conversation, and connect with others in a warm, welcoming environment. It's a place to sip coffee or tea, make new friends, and practice Spanish without fear of making mistakes.
